The Vice President of the Federal Association of German Management Consultants, Matthias Loebich, has also taken over the presidency of the European Federation of Management Consultancies
Associations (feaco) at the beginning of 2021. He replaces Eric Falque from France. The European consulting umbrella organisation with headquarters in Brussels represents the interests of the
consulting industry vis-à-vis politicians and organises the cross-border exchange of information and experience among the national industry representatives. It was founded in 1960 and currently
15 national consulting associations are actively involved. The term of office of the FEACO Presidium runs from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2022.
Loebich is a member of the Executive Board and Global Leader Markets and Networks Bearingpoint GmbH. He brings more than 20 years of consulting experience - especially in global transformation
projects. On the BDU Executive Committee, Loebich is primarily responsible for all association activities relating to international affairs, professional law and the recruitment of young
professionals. One of the main objectives of the Presidium's work at European level will be to give feaco a stronger digital orientation than before and thus make it more visible. Loebich:
"Virtual formats offer enormous potential, especially for international committee work. We can exchange information faster, more up-to-date and with fewer resources. Here I would like to take
feaco to the next level of development in the coming years together with my Presidium team." Furthermore, the intensification of surveys and business climate surveys is planned, which will allow
more meaningful results on the development of the consulting markets in Europe as well as their comparison.
